Breaking now:
Deputy constables say at least five people have been killed in a shooting in northwest Harris County.
The shooting happened late Wednesday afternoon in the 700 block of Leaflet in the Spring area. The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office says seven people were shot and five of those people were killed.
From Sky 2 aerials, several ambulances could be seen. LifeFlight is transporting at least two people with gunshot wounds.
The suspect is still at large.

5:37 PM PT: News reports say that the suspect fled in a car and was chased into a cul-de-sac, where he's now sitting surrounded by armed officers in a standoff.

Seven people have been shot, five fatally, in north Harris County. Two children were also wounded in the shooting, and now a standoff near the scene is underway.

6:23 PM PT: Per ABC13 News, the death toll now stands at 6, with one of the two wounded - a child - succumbing to injuries at the hospital.
8:04 PM PT: Press conference underway now - it appears four of the deceased were children.
8:06 PM PT: ABC13 reports now that the suspect surrendered to police and is in custody.
